Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of the Faculty Center and Associate Vice President, Faculty Affairs, the Faculty Center Coordinator is responsible for completing numerous complex assignments, tasks, and projects in support of professional development events and activities for the Faculty Center. The Faculty Center Coordinator also provides fiscal support to the Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for Faculty Center professional development activities, events, and projects.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Faculty Center and provide timely response to phone and email questions from colleges, departments, and individual faculty members regarding processes within the scope of this position.

Department Faculty Affairs

Time Base: 1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week. Duration of Appointment: This is a temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Compensation

Hiring Rate: The hiring rate for this position is $4,047 (Step #1) - $5,896 (Step #20) per month. Light work - Job involves some lifting of medium weight objects (10-20 pounds) and/or 10% - 20% of the job involves standing or walking.
