Factory IT/OT Technician

About the role

This role ensures the delivery of Factory OT/IT related services at the site, provides support and acts as the first point of contact for all production OT/IT related systems while adhering to global/regional Factory OT/IT standards. The role also leads implementation of site Factory OT/IT projects and supports the site Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Responsibilities

• Ensure cyber security of the home site - Local Network Administrator
• Deploy remediation solutions to mitigate current risks and maintain cybersecurity standards
• Complete network procedures (Back Up / Patching / Antivirus Update)
• Prepare and follow emergency & business continuity plans
• Document and train to ensure consistent processes and knowledge transfer
• Manage user accounts (Alero/Domain)
• Deliver IT/OT solutions related services
• Work as a functional expert of all local applications being supported
• Collaborate with associates to understand and characterize issues regarding Factory OT/IT systems and applications in use
• Resolve issues and continuously improve Factory IT infrastructure and solutions with relevant internal/external partners
• Raise tickets using the global system for KPI and dashboarding of actions
• Own Factory OT/IT infrastructure and masterplan at the site location
• Implement and coordinate Factory OT/IT projects at the home site
• Communicate Factory OT/IT infrastructure solutions and services to Quality, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Mars MGS teams
• Liaise with the OT Security Team and escalate critical issues to them
• Use Factory OT/IT infrastructure services effectively, including providing trainings, guides, and raising awareness of available IT tools and services
• Support MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and ensure its safety and the safety of contractors adhering to the Food Safety Policy
• Manage external contractors for Factory OT/IT tasks, follow induction processes, and supervise their work in the site respecting the Safety standard
• Ensure all work within the site follows all Mars standards
• Drive compliance and regulatory adherence (Food Safety and other industry-specific regulations)

Requirements

• Desired Education & Experience:
• 2-year Technical Degree/Certificate in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or IT/OT Professional Studies
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• +3 years IT (Information Technology) & OT (Operational Technology) experience
• Excellent organizational, analytical, project management, and technical skills
• Server administration, virtual infrastructure administration, IT/OT Architecture knowledge, database administration knowledge, SQL knowledge, Excel, VBA knowledge, self-management following defined KPIs/objectives, and proactively tracking
• Lifelong learner capable of attaining necessary professional qualifications and continual technical development
• A High School Diploma/GED is required

Qualifications
