Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, and execute multi-shop tasks with multiple trades and contractors to meet mission needs.
- Track and respond to work task status promptly.
- Ensure attention to high-profile and after-hours work tasks, using effective time management.
- Integrate Sec 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act when necessary.
- Maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Oversee construction and renovation projects to enhance efficiency and compliance with environmental, health, and security standards.
- Administer and control contracts, equipment, and supplies budgets.
- Participate in architectural and engineering planning and design, including space and installation management.
- Set goals and deadlines for the department.
- Teach staff procedures through classes.
- Prepare and review operational reports and schedules for accuracy and efficiency.
- Acquire, distribute, and store supplies.
- Dispose of or oversee the disposal of surplus or unclaimed property.
- Manage leasing of facility space.
Requirements
- Current Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) credential through IFMA or equivalent.
- Six years of management experience in construction, maintenance, and operations of facilities and utilities.
- Experience operating and maintaining utility plants and systems is highly desirable.
Prior to Employment

Qualifications
- Education: Degree or certification in Construction or Facilities Management.
- Experience: Ten years of experience in the combination of construction, maintenance, and operations of facilities and utilities preferred.

Pay
The salary range for the Facility/Real Property Maintenance (RPM) Manager is $99,080 - $125,030 per year.
