Facility/Real Property Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and execute multi-shop tasks with multiple trades and contractors to meet mission needs.
• Track and respond to work task status promptly.
• Ensure attention to high-profile and after-hours work tasks, using effective time management.
• Integrate Sec 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act when necessary.
• Maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Oversee construction and renovation projects to enhance efficiency and compliance with environmental, health, and security standards.
• Administer and control contracts, equipment, and supplies budgets.
• Participate in architectural and engineering planning and design, including space and installation management.
• Set goals and deadlines for the department.
• Teach staff procedures through classes.
• Prepare and review operational reports and schedules for accuracy and efficiency.
• Acquire, distribute, and store supplies.
• Dispose of or oversee the disposal of surplus or unclaimed property.
• Manage leasing of facility space.

Requirements

• Current Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) credential through IFMA or equivalent.
• Six years of management experience in construction, maintenance, and operations of facilities and utilities.
• Experience operating and maintaining utility plants and systems is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or certification in Construction or Facilities Management.
• Experience: Ten years of experience in the combination of construction, maintenance, and operations of facilities and utilities preferred.

Pay

The salary range for the Facility/Real Property Maintenance (RPM) Manager is $99,080 - $125,030 per year.

Schedule

The Facility/Real Property Maintenance (RPM) Manager works full-time.
