Facility Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance and ensures cleanliness of the entire facility
• Manages contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds
• Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the facility
• Captures exterior property cleaning and maintenance in accordance with company standards
• Implements policies and procedures for the Building Maintenance and facilities Department, including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services
• Coordinates and directs work of department members, including Assistant Maintenance technicians, cleaners and laundry facilities and housepersons
• Evaluates performance, rewards, and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems
• Makes plans and forecasts for manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses
• Communicates any changes or new policies and procedures to the department

Requirements

• Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or training
• Valid Driver’s License and other applicable mechanical/equipment licenses (Boiler, HVAC etc.)

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job
• Frequent use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Frequent lifting, moving, and carrying up to 50 pounds; pushing or pulling up to 100 pounds
• Working in outdoor weather conditions and noise levels that are moderate
• Work weekends and holidays
