Facility Operations Event Staff - Daytona Intl Speedway

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in executing DIS events – major races, track rentals, other events.
• Assemble and disassemble track equipment such as track gates, barricades, portable bleachers, etc.
• Use all types of power tools and large equipment including forklift, front end loader, backhoe, bucket truck.
• Perform preventive building maintenance duties.
• Clean, repair, lubricate and maintain equipment, tools and machinery used for construction jobs.
• Use saws, hammer, nails and bolts for framing.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications using equipment, picks, or shovels
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall and carpentry repairs.
• Participate in general cleaning, painting, and repair work.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

This position requires basic office systems knowledge including but not limited to computer system and programs, cellular phone and 2-way radios. This position will perform routine preventative maintenance and repair procedures on race track and related infrastructures. Operate equipment and use tools as directed.
