About the role
Plans, schedules, and directs staff of skilled and unskilled trades employees in the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Qualifications
- Five years of management/supervisory experience in commercial construction, renovation, facilities management or equipment maintenance management; OR
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in commercial construction, renovation, facilities management or equipment maintenance management
- Preferred degree majors: Business, Construction Management, or Engineering Management
- Preferred certificates/licenses: Air Conditioning & Heating Certification or Electrician license
- Technical skills required: Microsoft Office Products
- Technical skills preferred: AutoCAD, CMMS
Responsibilities
- Ensures that utility systems are fully operational and inspected in accordance with preventive maintenance schedules
- Manages assigned associates
- Prepares cost estimates for building renovations or space allocations
- Communicates with management and contractors as required
- Oversees capital projects
- Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications
- Oversees repair and maintenance of buildings and assets
- Provides needed support for ecological sustainability issues
- Performs other duties as assigned
Pay
Minimum salary: $72,064.00
