Facility Lead

About the role

Assist Facility Management in the operations of a Goodwill retail facility, following specific guidelines and operating with minimal supervision. Open availability, including nights and weekends, is required. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance are necessary for company business.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Adhere to Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest directives, rules, policies, procedures, and departmental and organizational standards
• Assist customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner
• Ensure the quality and quantity of work performed by employees according to standards
• Maintain the facility and surrounding premises in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe condition
• Train and evaluate employees in a thorough, organized, and timely manner
• Manage personnel assigned to the store and maintain all store records
• Operate the facility in the absence of Facility Management, including directing personnel, ensuring accurate transactions, and processing donated goods
• Conduct individual and group training sessions and ensure open communication at all levels
• Take corrective action to ensure acceptable employee performance according to policy
• Comply with cash handling, security, and safety policies
• Maximize financial performance and develop corrective action plans as needed
• Collaborate with Workforce and Family Services to provide client services
• Maintain agency confidentiality and comply with all health, safety, and fire standards and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum of six months related experience and/or training
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage a minimum of 2 subordinate employees who oversee the daily operation of a minimum of 3 employees in the Retail Store and Production Processing Departments, depending on location.

Hourly wage: $20.13 per hour
