Facility General Laborer

About the role

The Facility General Laborer contributes to facility efficiency by supporting our color blending production team, assisting with warehouse duties and deliveries, and assisting customers in troubleshooting products.

Responsibilities

• Organize stocks and maintain inventory
• Aid with color blending, warehouse, and delivery responsibilities as needed
• Operate tinting and mixing equipment and material handling equipment in an efficient and safe manner
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with spray equipment
• Ensure customers' quality and service expectations are met

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future; must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion
• Prior qualifications: One (1) year of work experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch process; one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment; one (1) year of work experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position; one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods; one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility; previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products; prior work experience operating tinting or color matching equipment; prior work experience repairing spray equipment
