Facilities Worker
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Own reliable transportation.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Able to occasionally exert up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Travel between locations to perform duties such as groundskeeping, moving furniture, boxes, power washing, salting, shoveling, etc.
- Assist the Maintenance department as needed.
- Drive Company Vehicle from location to location in all types of conditions.
- Perform a variety of grounds keeping services (pulling weeds, applying weed killer, picking up trash, clearing and cleaning job sites of debris, etc.).
- Operate equipment such as weed trimmers, pruning saw, loppers, etc.
- Operate a power washer to clean buildings, equipment, etc.
- Shovel snow from walkways, driveways, or parking lots.
- Operate a salt spreader.
- Transport equipment, furniture, personal belongings, etc. around from building to building (ability to operate hand truck, dolly, etc.).
- Load and unload from vehicle.
- Maintain all equipment.
- Notify Manager of any damages.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/request with professionalism and patience.
- Check supplies and notify Manager if items need to be ordered.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company practices.
