About the role

Operation and Maintenance technician for the Facilities L10 Sub-fab Group. Maintain equipment to ensure zero impacts to manufacturing. Operate, maintain, and monitor vacuum and abatement systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of vacuum pumps and point-of-use abatement systems to prevent any impacts on production.
  • Perform daily operations including reviewing monitoring equipment, taking rounds, giving/taking passdown to/from oncoming/offgoing shift, reading and reviewing trend data, and performing material/equipment change outs.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment using procedures, O&M manuals, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Work independently or collaborate with senior and junior technicians on shift.
  • Achieve proficiency in all equipment aspects through on-the-job training (OJT) and OEM manual reference, with the ability to train others afterward.
  • Order parts, manage the budget, and maintain 6S standards.
  • Work with Hazardous Production Materials and electrical/mechanical equipment.

Requirements

  • Computer skills including: MS Office, MES Reporting, Material Slips, and SRs.
  • Knowledgeable and reliable in operating automated systems with associated HMI controls.
  • Mechanical abilities to perform system and equipment troubleshooting and repairs on main equipment and support equipment.
  • Electronic experience to perform system and equipment troubleshooting and repairs on PLC controlled systems, components, sensors, and other electronic devices.
  • Ability to generate and follow written procedures.
  • Ability to work any shift, overtime hours, carry pager, wear safety boots, and be a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
  • Must meet minimum physical requirements: working from ladders, lifting 50# loads, confined space entry, working 12 hr shifts which includes recurrent walking and standard breaks, wearing respirator and other PPE.
  • Ability to spend majority of the shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sitting.
  • Frequent coordinated use of hands.
  • Frequently reach, bend, lift, and carry up to 12 pounds, with potential to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently push/pull with a force of 10 pounds, occasionally requiring 5–30 pounds.
  • Use of Respirator/SCBA gear, wearing personnel protective equipment (PPE), safety shoes, working in cleanroom environment, forklift operations and some heavy lifting (50lbs) are required in an indoor/outdoor environment.

Qualifications

Pay

  • Starting salary typically ranges between $23.55 and $31.24 per hour.
  • Full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $23.55 - $33.85 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level.
  • Total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.

Schedule

  • This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location.
  • Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.

  • Work shift schedules day or night, and carry pager that may require emergency overtime hours or be on call during off duty hours.
