Entegris is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform hazardous waste operations within our Hazardous Waste team. This role will independently coordinate and execute hazardous waste tasks across multiple buildings, including managing daily shipments, inspections, and other facilities efforts.
Responsibilities
- Take daily inventories and work with internal and external stakeholders to schedule hazardous waste shipments.
- Manage and create required regulatory paperwork such as DOT manifests.
- Coordinate internal lab packs with end users and vendors.
- Perform satellite waste pickups according to regulatory requirements and operational needs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Perform hazardous waste inspections, inventories, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain proper regulatory and internal records as required.
- Prioritize work orders, daily plant needs, and emergency situations.
- Perform maintenance, cleaning, and calibrations on facilities equipment.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- RCRA certification.
- DOT Hazmat Transportation certification.
- MA Wastewater Level 1 license or ability to obtain within one year (preferred).
- Ability to move chemical drums and totes.
- Ability to climb ladders, staging, and platforms.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Outlook.
- Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Skills
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Basic analytical skills for problem-solving in standard situations.

Pay
$30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, day shift.
