About the Role
The Maintenance Technician III performs a variety of tasks and assignments including the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure. A key focus will be on equipment reliability, safety, troubleshooting, and process improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Repair blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot electrical components such as contactors, switches, relays, and controllers
- Walk the production line daily and look for abnormalities in the equipment
- Troubleshoot production issues with support from the maintenance team and/or engineering
- Support the installation of new equipment, retrofitting of old equipment, and facility capital projects to improve the manufacturing process
- Educate operators to improve day-to-day machine operations and update documents if needed
- Order parts and build materials lists to complete upcoming projects
- Work as a team or independently as tasks require
- Maintain an organized and safe work area; wear required Personal Protective Equipment
- Safely perform duties and observe approved safety procedures
- Be exposed to outdoor working conditions, and dusty or dirty environments
- Occasionally be on-call for a full week, including weekends and nights as part of the team rotation
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Experience working on large industrial equipment like high-temperature furnaces, rotary piston vacuum pumps, powder transfer systems, etc.
- Electrical component knowledge to troubleshoot motor starters, relays, pressure switches, temperature controllers, etc.
- Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawings
- Basic welding knowledge preferred
- Must be a permanent resident of the U.S. to comply with export control laws
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50 lbs
- Able to pass pre-employment physical
- Capacity to comply with federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws
- Some flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations, etc.
Qualifications
- Willing to adapt to changing responsibilities based on production priorities
- Able to identify areas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failures
- Experience in working in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AS9100 environment is a plus

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional on-call weeks including weekends and nights as part of the team rotation.
