Facilities Technician I or II

Job Summary

Dominion Energy seeks a Facilities Technician I or II to troubleshoot and maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems in the Warrenton, VA area. Successful candidates will handle preventive, routine, and emergency tasks, conduct inspections, and assist with renovations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Facilities Technician I

- 1+ years directly related experience or 6 months of relevant work experience. - Ability to perform routine and some complex tasks. - Familiarity with blueprints, work orders, and computer operations. - Basic knowledge of electrical repair and replacement.

Facilities Technician II

- 5+ years' experience in maintenance and construction, with an emphasis in HVAC. - In-depth knowledge of building, mechanical, and electrical systems. - Proficiency in diagnosing and installing HVAC and electrical equipment. - Knowledge of regulatory and environmental standards. - Experience with electrician, plumber, HVAC mechanic, or certified building mechanic licenses.

Education Requirements

- Associate degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses, Certifications, or Qualifications

- Preferred certifications include Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, HVAC Mechanic, Certified Building Mechanic, and EPA Certification - Type I, II, III (Universal) and R-410A Certification.

Working Conditions

Benefits
