Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance and repair work throughout multiple facilities.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities on building systems and equipment.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, valves, drains, and fixtures.
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance such as filter changes, troubleshooting support, and vendor coordination.
- Repair walls, doors, ceilings, flooring, cabinetry, windows, locks, and building hardware.
- Assemble office furniture, shelving, storage systems, and workplace equipment.
- Install whiteboards, monitors, signage, artwork, and miscellaneous office fixtures.
- Support office moves, workstation reconfigurations, and space planning activities.
- Perform painting, patching, drywall repairs, and finish work.
- Maintain parking lots, sidewalks, loading areas, exterior grounds, and building appearance.
- Support janitorial oversight and facility cleanliness initiatives.
- Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies in a timely manner.
- Aid with vendor escorts and contractor coordination.
- Maintain maintenance tools, shop organization, and inventory.
- Assist with facility improvement and capital construction projects.
- Participate in safety inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support special events, workplace setup, and operational needs as assigned.
Requirements & Skills
- 3+ years of commercial facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or handyman experience.
- Experience performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair work.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, hardware, and general building systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and rooftops as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, laboratory, semiconductor, industrial, or technology facilities.
- Experience working alongside contractors and construction teams.
- Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift experience.
- Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
- Basic electrical and HVAC troubleshooting experience.
Success In The First 3 Months
- Become familiar with all Radiant facilities and building systems.
- Establish strong relationships with internal customers and vendors.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks on schedule.
- Improve response times for maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance across all facilities.
- Support ongoing capital projects and workplace improvements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs by performing work in-house while maintaining high-quality standards.
