Job Description
Preventative Maintenance Work Scheduled Within Required Window
Schedules PM’s, rebuilds, repairs and refits.
Plans maintenance work by building a design (drawings, sketches, pictures), bill of materials, scope of work, special installation instructions, time schedule (with manpower requirements)
Work Orders Delivered to Supervisor/Team Leader
Utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Maximo, for allocation and requisitioning of parts, tools, materials and external labor.
Queries work orders, reviews status, and changes status when appropriate.
Assembles “job boxes” or “kits” for planned mechanical or electrical work orders.
Preventative Maintenance Schedule
Acts as administrator for the Maximo Maintenance module and maintains and supports the Production and Facilities Maintenance Preventative Maintenance system.
Ensures that all PMs are generated on a timely basis.
Non-Stock Material Purchase Requests
Solicits information from vendors and contractors for parts, equipment and prefabrications.
Allocates and requisitions parts, tools, materials, and equipment and verifies delivery relative to scheduled installation dates.
Will require frequent coordination and collaboration with the Purchasing Department.
Work Order Completion
Maintains and closes out all completed PMs in the system and archives properly.

Education/Experience
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering or 5 years of industrial plant maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Strong organizational skills, computer literacy with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
- Other Skills/Competencies: Fundamental knowledge of industrial mechanical, process and electrical equipment including, but not limited to the following: piping, materials selection, hydraulic /pneumatic systems and power distribution. Experienced multi-skilled mechanic/electrician. Must be able to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics, including P&ID’s. Must be computer literate. Must be familiar with applicable codes including, but not limited to NFPA, NEC, and ISA. Must have a strong understanding regarding the operation/maintenance of processing equipment. Must be able to plan, schedule, and determine the proper direction from multiple priorities.

Pay Range
$30.58 - $34.93
