About the role

The Facility Solutions Manager oversees the business operations of an assigned client contracted service area, providing field support including training, guidance for new clients, performance inspections, and troubleshooting customer requests or complaints. This role focuses on developing long-term client and contractor relationships while managing contracts, supplies, and additional maintenance services to ensure high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including retention, expansion of services, and consumable supply products.
  • Formulate and manage an effective service strategy and schedule tailored to each client.
  • Negotiate and enter into agreements with clients for additional services, determining pricing, staffing, and logistics.
  • Manage contractor relationships, including hiring, negotiating contract terms, verifying compliance, and replacing contractors as needed.
  • Ensure excellence in quality and client satisfaction through detailed inspections and consistent follow-through.
  • Supervise and direct Night Managers to ensure client scopes are executed correctly and staffing needs are met.
  • Promote, procure, and monitor supplies for clients.
  • Communicate client issues promptly to contractors, Night Managers, and the Director of Operations, addressing problems as they arise.
  • Use CRM for client inspections, extra charges, Night Manager routing, and other operational tasks.
  • Maintain and update Building Information Sheets, Exhibit A forms, and MSDS sheets for each client.
  • Notify Sales Executives of potential accounts, particularly new construction opportunities.
  • Discuss service quality surveys with clients and encourage participation.
  • Communicate client survey responses to the Director of Operations, Night Managers, and contractors.
  • Develop and implement plans to resolve client complaints or service deficiencies, monitoring compliance actively.
  • Assist the accounting department in collecting past-due invoices and manage contractor payment invoices.
  • Maintain updated route sheets, key/alarm sheets, and monthly planners for each client.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of sales and management experience in building maintenance, facility management, or equivalent.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree highly desirable.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • Positive, outgoing personality with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
  • Spanish-speaking skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
