Education

Requires the ability to read, write and follow simple oral instructions as might normally be acquired through up to 8 years of formal schooling.

Experience

Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Pursues and reports maintenance and grounds issues within assigned areas.
• Leads and trains custodians within assigned areas.
• Inspects custodial work in assigned areas and reports grounds and maintenance issues to Area Supervisor.
• Assists in the coordination of custodial daily work assignments and tracking of reported maintenance and grounds items through completion.
• Makes decisions on behalf of Supervisor within the assigned area.
• Records daily time sheets for assigned custodial work crew.
• Maintains custodial supplies in janitorial closets.

Qualifications

Requires a valid Texas Driver's License.
