Facilities Purchasing Manager

About the role

The perspective candidate can expect to establish, implement and improve procedures for procuring services, goods and assets required in the operation of the business, inclusive of major purchase consolidations to secure the best possible pricing. An expectation of sourcing procedures and vendor management and responsible for executing purchasing strategies, tracking metrics, observe trends and recommend course corrections. Candidate should have superior MS Suite knowledge and spreadsheet creation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to create and maintain requests for PO's and other documentation related to these requests.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare and monitor spend forecast.
• Prepare regular reports and metrics to track Facilities' material delivery.
• Provide support to Facilities and Ops staff as needed to resolve purchasing issues and budgetary goals.
• Establish and implement procedures for procuring services, goods and assets required in the operation of the business, inclusive of major purchase consolidations to secure the best possible pricing, long term contract negotiations to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply.
• Meet the requirements of customer proactively and professionally in ordering and timely delivery.
• Report actual spend for various departments throughout the company.
• Managing team members to resolve purchasing requests with fidelity.
• Work with finance to meet monthly goals.
• Assist with creating a purchase order workflow.
• Run spend reports on an as needed basis.
• Workflow response training.
• Equip team members with skills and resources to meet team goals.
• Assess, analyze and report the quality of the work completed.
• Building positive repour with the vendors.
• Identifying the proper purchasing channel.
• Work with client's vision of operational changes and budgetary goals.
• Maintain budgetary excellence.
• Promote JLL's excellence and maintaining ethical standards.
• Forward thinking to drive efficiencies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing in a facilities management setting.
• Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
