Facilities Project Manager

About the role

Bell is shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering and is seeking a Facilities Project Manager. This position is fully onsite in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with travel to local facilities as needed and occasional travel to other sites. The role oversees construction projects from inception to completion, partnering with cross‑functional teams including operations, engineering, and external contracts to ensure projects align with Bell’s objectives, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Bell facilities projects, including planning, design, construction scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and manage schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Review and approve budgets, cost estimates, and change orders; implement cost‑control measures.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Bell health and safety standards.
• Provide regular updates to senior management, including status reports on schedule, budget, and key milestones.
• Address project challenges promptly, working with all parties to resolve issues and maintain progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience.
• Familiarity with project delivery methods, including Design‑Bid‑Build and Design‑Build.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and ethical practices.

Schedule

• Full‑time, Standard Shift (First Shift).
• Travel required approximately 10 % of the time.
