About the role

SAIC is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to provide project and programmatic management expertise for coordination, planning, and work prioritization of assigned projects valued from $200K to $50M or more. You will serve as the interface between government facilities management, design and construction contractors, Site Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contractor, local utilities, and other stakeholders on matters related to customer requirements, project prioritization, and execution.

This role oversees the five phases of the project life cycle: requirements development, programming, design, construction, and closeout. You will manage tasks and functions related to the Client’s overall facilities operations, focusing on areas such as facilities recapitalization, long-term strategic planning, budget advocacy, critical infrastructure monitoring, and design and construction oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison, coordinating and reporting to U.S. government representatives at various levels
  • Manage activities of Architectural/Engineering (A/E) firms and construction contractors to ensure projects are executed on schedule, meet quality standards, and stay within budget
  • Coordinate resource allocation and maintain document control
  • Conduct and validate cost proposals
  • Develop and present metrics to promote a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in a facilities-related engineering or architectural field with 10+ years of relevant experience in the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DOD), or commercial sector (relevant professional experience may substitute for a degree)
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including managing performance, budget, schedules, and adhering to control gates
  • Knowledge of facility operations and project execution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with industry partners
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing resources

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Architectural Field
  • Knowledge of the Client’s operations
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local building and safety codes
  • Experience with data centers
  • Project Management Institute’s PMP or equivalent certification

Pay

Target salary range: $120,001 – $160,000, based on experience and other factors.
