Facilities Project Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cook up and coordinate multiple maintenance and repair projects, usually between $50,000 and $3 million, carried out by MSTS (M&O site contractor for the NNSS site), ensuring they stay within budget and timeline.
• Handle property accountability, excessing, and disposal according to DOE, GSA, and federal regulations.
• Support routine facility operations, including inventory control, maintenance coordination, and lock/key management.
• Securely transport materials, equipment, and personnel using medium-duty trucks and material handling equipment.
• Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as other stakeholders, to meet operational and project needs.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures, site protocols, and emergency preparedness guidelines.
• Manage fleet operations, including vehicle tracking, maintenance scheduling, and compliance reporting.
• Prepare reports and keep detailed records and documentation for federal stakeholders and headquarters offices.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, facilities operations, property management, and/or federal site support.
• Some understanding of federal property disposal procedures and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing fleet operations and material handling logistics.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification after hiring.
• A valid driver's license with experience operating medium-duty trucks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in communicating with senior government and executive personnel.
• The ability to work independently in a high-stakes environment.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Pay

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is $66,560 - $76,960. Factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and competencies, along with geographic location, educational background, and contract provisions related to labor categories specific to the position, can influence the final pay determination.
