Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of ~20 technicians across multiple trades using the MAXIMO computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Monitor incoming service requests through Maximo, phone calls, emails, texts, and other means, evaluate for legitimacy, convert to work orders, and assign to the appropriate trades/individuals.
- Communicate canceled service requests to customers.
- Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Schedule equipment and personnel, confirm material supply and demands, prepare work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with stakeholders, including vendors, technicians, Facility Project Managers, ESHM, various program POCs, building occupants, security/escorts, and janitorial to minimize disruption to usual business and maximize efficiency.
- Schedule and communicate outages to all affected parties.
- Ensure access to secure spaces or other areas requiring pre-coordination.
- Schedule vendors for outsourced activities, arrange for badges and escorts as required.
- Provide adequate look-ahead for efficient and timely execution of work orders, especially when involving compliance and/or contractors.
- Identify internal and external task dependencies, analyze forecast date impacts.
- Maintain an appropriate backlog of effectively planned work ready for scheduling based on priorities established by Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering.
- Work directly with Maintenance and Production Supervisors to plan preventative and corrective maintenance work orders, develop weekly and long-term schedules, and assist with the planning of plant shutdowns.
- Represent the organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
- Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Develop and deliver presentations.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision, multitask, and exercise good judgment, with superior communication and customer-service oriented attitude.
- All other duties as assigned.
- May be asked to travel domestically on rare occasions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or bachelor’s degree and 2 years of facilities maintenance experience or master’s degree.
- Must be able to transfer or obtain and maintain a final adjudicated government Top-Secret clearance and any program accesses required for the position within a reasonable period of time.
- 2 years of experience working in MAXIMO (or a similar CMMS).
- 2 years of experience planning or performing maintenance activities, such as planning maintenance work for facilities infrastructure and/or production equipment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active security clearance.
- Experience in aerospace/commercial industry facilities maintenance working with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other trades.
- Experience working in a mission-critical facility environment.
- Certificate in MAXIMO.
- Familiarity with major trade categories in a commercial or industrial built environment (e.g., Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Roofing).
- Experience working with Facilities Managers, Engineers, Technicians, and Project/Construction Managers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service background.

Pay
Primary level salary range: $65,500.00 – $98,300.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
