Facilities Manager (supporting Naval Research Lab)

About the role

ASRC Federal is seeking a Facilities Manager to support our PRIME Naval Research Lab program at Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Facility team on all aspects of facilities work.
• Respond to service or trouble calls, perform recurring work, conduct preventative maintenance, and conduct inspections.
• Manage tasks for other facilities members and plan site projects.
• Work with external vendors and companies for specialized work.
• Be an ASRC purchase card holder for official purchases under $3k.
• Perform general facilities maintenance and construction duties as site needs require.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensed as a Master in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or other trade, strongly desired.
• 7 years' experience working at government installations, strongly desired.
• Experience with NEC building codes and regulations.
• Ability to supervise a team.
• Proficiency on MS Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.

Qualifications

• Must have an active SECRET clearance or higher.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance and construction practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
