Facilities Manager, Senior
About the Role
Maintain responsibility for managing day-to-day maintenance operations, including the inspection of living and work spaces to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff members. Provide regular inspections of safety equipment, including water purification, fire extinguishers, AEDs, and other health and safety equipment. Access roof and traverse through a small access door. Move equipment and materials to support full facilities maintenance processes throughout the compound. Oversee local national grounds maintenance and maintenance technicians to ensure timely and quality work. Maintain accountability for administrative duties that support maintenance actions through periodic reports, prioritizing tasks for the day or week, tracking local national progress on projects within the program’s designated space, and completing other miscellaneous tasks required to support the client mission. Facilitate or participate in client meetings or conference calls, as needed. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Verify service requests and monitor facilities maintenance
- Troubleshoot emergent and non-emergent facilities issues to identify root causes
- Document work progress to completion
- Conduct routine inspections of living quarters and report necessary repairs
- Track facility maintenance requirements
- Respond to facility emergencies, assess situations, and provide resolution recommendations
- Forecast facility maintenance needs, including HVAC and plumbing
- Work independently and interact effectively with all facility stakeholders
- Move items up to 100 lbs. and traverse tight spaces
- Travel to OCONUS locations, including austere locations in South Asia, up to 90% of the time
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing facilities maintenance
- 2+ years of experience conducting routine inspections of living quarters
- Experience responding to facility emergencies
- Knowledge of general facilities maintenance, minor repairs, and safety/security precautions (carpentry, electrical, plumbing)
- Ability to work independently and interact effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to move items up to 100 lbs. and traverse tight spaces
- Ability to travel to OCONUS locations up to 90% of the time
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Qualifications
- Nice to Have: 2+ years of experience with OCONUS project management
- Experience working with multifunctional teams of U.S. or local national contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Experience with multicultural environments and regulations
- Ability to de-conflict and manage competing requirements
- Ability to gather, consolidate, and organize strategic requirements
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
Work Model: This position may require occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility, depending on the specific work model (Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite) assigned to the role.
