Facilities Manager (Full-Time)

About the role

Supports a factory startup focused on manufacturing large, complex equipment. Responsible for building operations, manufacturing staff, and process workflows from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, planning, and maintenance of facilities, machinery, and infrastructure.
• Oversee site layout, space allocation, and expansion efforts.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, and retention of facilities, safety, and manufacturing teams.
• Develop strategic plans for facility design, equipment procurement, and automation integration.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, manage capital projects, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Support employee development, performance management, and team leadership.
• Communicate effectively within teams and influence organizational safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in industrial maintenance and facilities, with 5+ years in management.
• Experience with large-factor assembly manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and technical skills.
• Proficiency in project management, financial analysis, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to interpret technical, financial, and regulatory information, and implement change management.
