About the role
The Facilities Manager (FM) is responsible for planning and managing the repair and maintenance for up to 60-100 stores in one (occasionally two) Region(s) and provides training to store managers on facility maintenance and repairs. This position searches, evaluates, negotiates, and contracts with regional vendors to provide preventative maintenance and needed repair services to assigned stores. The Facilities Manager manages vendors’ performance to ensure work meets quality requirements and is provided in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the repair and maintenance for up to 60-100 stores in one (occasionally two) Regions within metrics, ensuring all stores meet Panda facility standards.
- Search, evaluate, qualify, and negotiate contracts with local and regional vendors to provide preventative maintenance and repair services to assigned stores.
- Utilize and implement repair and preventive maintenance programs that enable store managers to handle routine or urgent situations.
- Train store managers on R&M (repair and maintenance) programs and on working effectively with vendors to control quality work and cost.
- Develop repair preventive maintenance programs that enable store managers to handle routine or urgent situations.
- Train store managers on the preventive maintenance programs and how to work with vendors.
- Support Risk Management’s program by responding to emergencies, inspecting issues at hand, and helping create resolution.
- Use the Service Channel tools, reports, and FM metrics to manage vendors’ performance to control maintenance and repair costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associates degree or equivalent years of work experience required.
- Minimum five years of facilities maintenance-related experience and one to two years of facilities maintenance management experience, preferably in the retail/hospitality environment.
- Working toward CRFP certification or equivalent.
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required training.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment.
- Active driver’s license.
- Ability to drive in locations that require ground transportation during the course of work.
- 40-50%+ travel, with some overnight travel. Applicants must be able to meet this requirement with or without reasonable accommodations.

Pay
M2: $112,500 - $158,000 / Annual. Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
