About the School

Spectrum Middle and High School (Spectrum) is a 1,000-student college-prep public school serving students and families since 2007. We serve students in grades 5-12 across three buildings located in Elk River, MN. Spectrum also owns and maintains a 50-acre athletic complex approximately 1.5 miles from the school campus.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Facilities Manager who reports to the Facilities Director. This position works with the Facilities Director to oversee the efficient cleaning and maintenance of all Spectrum facilities and equipment, as well as set-up and tear-down for all events.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties to maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment during the school day and for events held during evenings or weekends.
• Conduct hands-on custodial and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate duties with other custodians and maintenance staff.
• Provide effective leadership and supervision to custodians, maintenance staff, student workers, volunteers, and others.
