Use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care at Lovelace Westside Hospital, which serves Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho with a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities, including ENT, bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for facility maintenance and support services, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for patients, visitors, and team members.
  • Oversee daily facility operations, capital projects, vendor relationships, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and continuous process improvements.
  • Lead the daily operations of facility maintenance, building systems, and support services across assigned locations.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop facilities team members while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
  • Oversee facility construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and facility-related purchases.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to resolve facility-related issues, support strategic initiatives, and improve the overall care environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices that enhance facility operations, reliability, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study (education may be substituted for relevant experience).
  • Three (3) years of related experience.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Boiler Operator license and/or at least one other contractor's or journeyman's license.
