Facilities Manager

oversees all building-related activities and reports to the VP of Production and Cultivation. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishmentsManage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standardsInspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovationsReview utilities consumption and strive to minimize costsSupervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractorsControl activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.Allocate office space according to needsHandle insurance plans and service contractsKeep financial and non-financial recordsPerform analysis and forecasting Note: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job. Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant positionWell-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practicesKnowledge of basic accounting and finance principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsGood analytical/critical thinkingBSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant fieldRelevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantageAble to pass a level 2 background checkMust be 21+ years of age
