Facilities Manager

What You'll DoAs the Facilities Manager, you'll own our facilities and grounds, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and resolving issues before they affect operations.Responsibilities Include:Manage the daily upkeep of all company facilities, including:Mechanics shopWarehousePanel shopFabrication areasEquipment yardAdministrative officesMaintain and troubleshoot building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, overhead doors, cranes/hoists, security systems, and access controlsDevelop and manage preventive maintenance programsRespond quickly to maintenance requests and facility emergenciesPerform light hands-on maintenance such as painting, patching, hardware installation, and basic repairsCoordinate facility vendors and contractors, including janitorial, landscaping, fire protection, security, and trade partnersManage service contracts, bids, invoices, and work ordersMaintain clean, organized workspaces using 5S principlesSupport facility layout improvements, storage optimization, and workplace safety initiativesEnsure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, SDS requirements, and PPE standardsDocument completed work with photos, notes, and recordsWho You AreRequired Qualifications:5+ years of facilities, maintenance, building operations, or similar experienceExperience managing vendors, contractors, and service providersFamiliarity with CMMS or work order management systemsAbility to read drawings, measurements, and use a tape measure and levelExperience with painting, patching, hardware installation, and hand/power toolsOSHA-30 CertificationValid driver's license with a clean driving recordBasic Microsoft Outlook and Excel skillsPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Facilities Management, Technical Field, or related areaBilingual English/SpanishExperience supporting industrial, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environmentsWork Environment and Physical Demands:This position requires working at a local office campus including an office, mechanic shop, warehouse, and fabrication shop. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and may occasionally use hand tools associated with facilities management. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must sit for long periods, climb on and off equipment, walk, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms, hear, and talk.
