Facilities Manager
Position Summary
The Facilities Manager manages multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. This position description provides a baseline of technical areas of the Facilities Manager; however, this list does not restrict performance requested on other related assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance with TS/SCI Eligibility
- Associates degree; EIGHT (8) years of related professional experience may be used in lieu of degree.
- FOUR (4) years of facilities management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires broad-based knowledge of financial terms and principles.
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
- Conducts advanced financial analysis.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite programs, Outlook, and intranet/internet.
- Ability to use work order system.
- Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of leases, contracts, and related documents.
- Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines.
