Facilities Manager
Join CBRE as a Facilities Manager supporting one of the nation's largest energy providers. In this highly visible role, you will serve as the primary Facilities Management partner for a portfolio of 12 administrative service centers throughout the Plantation, Florida area. This position is based onsite in Plantation, which serves as your home base, with regular travel to local sites located within approximately 10 to 30 minutes.
Responsibilities
- Lead facilities operations for a portfolio of 12 office-based service center locations throughout the Plantation, FL area.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and day-to-day leadership to Mobile Engineers.
- Manage facility services including janitorial, landscaping, pest control, plumbing, and general maintenance programs through vendor and contractor partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for facilities-related needs and resolutions.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance activities, and work orders while ensuring service excellence across all locations.
- Conduct facility inspections, maintain quality standards, and identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost-effective solutions.
- Support budgeting activities, vendor proposals, and project approvals while maintaining financial accountability.
- Oversee contractor performance, invoicing, safety practices, and compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Facilities Management experience within commercial office, healthcare, retail, or similar environments.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Facilities Management certification is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable.
- Experience managing multiple sites and coordinating vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop direct reports.
- Strong customer service mindset with a proven ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Experience managing repairs, maintenance programs, and facility operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with the ability to travel daily between local sites.
