Pay

$70,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s ammonia refrigeration and PSM program, ensuring compliance with OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, IIAR, and all applicable regulatory and company requirements.
• Manage the operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of critical plant utility and facility systems (ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, HVAC, water treatment, fire protection, and building infrastructure).
• Oversee PSM program elements, including mechanical integrity, emergency response readiness, process hazard analyses (PHAs), management of change (MOC), compliance audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in industrial facilities, utilities, refrigeration, or maintenance leadership
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
• Demonstrated working knowledge of PSM and ammonia compliance programs
• Experience with boilers, steam systems, air compressors, HVAC, and plant utility systems
• Experience leading maintenance or facilities technicians
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, mechanical integrity, troubleshooting, and reliability practices
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and code requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Food, beverage, dairy, cold storage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
• RETA certification (e.g., CARO or CIRO)
• Boiler operator license or documented boiler operations experience
