Responsibilities
- Performs Preventive and Predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Effectively troubleshoots failures and works in team environment to determine root causes of failure
- Participates in plant shift meeting and continuous improvement activities
- Determines spare parts requirements and make recommendations for facility equipment
- Identifies and requisitions parts utilizing OEM Service Drawings
- Produces drawings and fabricates simple parts in the maintenance / machine shop
- Effectively troubleshoots 480V, 3-phase circuits, 120V, 24V, and other control circuits
- Affords assistance with motor / moto drive troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair
- Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field or a minimum of two (2) years of related experience
- Two to five (2-5) years of experience working with automated Facility support equipment such as BMS, Chillers, Air compressors, Cooling Towers, Power Systems, HVAC, Roofing Systems, Overhead Doors and Docking Equipment, etc., preferred
- Demonstrates an understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Demonstrates basic understanding of PLC Program Logic and BMS
- Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office Software: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in Compressed Air System troubleshooting and repair
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose Access Control systems
- Demonstrated experience in Motor / Motor Drive (Electrical and Mechanical) troubleshooting
- Able to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Able to write detailed repair reports
- Must have good mathematical skills, including basic algebra, to calculate electrical/electronic equations as needed
- Experience with basic office computer software and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts
- Able to stand, walk, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, and bend constantly; able to sit, handle/finger, and reach outward frequently
- Able to meet minimum vision requirements for operation of a powered industrial vehicle with or without corrective lenses
