Facilities Maintenance Technician II
About the role
Roush is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to perform general maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, office furniture assemblies and HVAC troubleshooting. The position involves traveling between company facilities on the assigned campus.
Responsibilities
- Provide facilities maintenance support such as plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, office furniture assemblies, minor electrical and minor fabrication
- Provide solutions and operate independently on jobs that are assigned
- Advise and research repair methods with team members
- Enter work order comments and timecards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of general commercial / industrial facility maintenance experience or equivalent military experience
- Able to solve practical problems and diagnose basic plumbing, electrical and equipment malfunctions
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measurement, including fractions
- Valid drivers license with a good driving record and ability to pass our MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) standards
- Skilled in the use of power and hand tools
- Basic computer skills and good communication skills
- Ability to move and lift up to 75lbs.
Qualifications
- Experience in the use of a forklift and scissor lift
- HVAC troubleshooting experience
- Machine repair and troubleshooting experience
