Facilities Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, structures and systems.
• Perform minor maintenance repair work in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and/or painting.
• Perform utility and structural repairs.
• Document and maintain records of inspection and work performed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or completion of a formal training program in building repair, including HVAC, general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical repair.
• Two years of experience in HVAC, general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical repair.
• Military experience as a Utilitiesman, Builder, Machinists Mate or a similar role.

Qualifications

• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods, move/transport items and equipment weighing up to or more than 100 lbs., inspect equipment, install, repair and maintain systems, fixtures and structures, follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Skills

Must possess the ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, and follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay

Minimum hourly: $20.77
Maximum hourly: $31.68

Schedule

Evening/Nights from 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with some weekend and holiday requirements.
