Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day maintenance operations within a high-ops tempo 24/7 production environment
• Coordinate and schedule workload to hourly wage employees on non-routine and self-directed tasks
• Effectively communicate with the site management team and the customer to understand requirements, solve complex problems, and provide solutions to manufacturing problems to meet client needs
• Exhibit strong leadership skills, such as motivation, delegation, ownership, leading by example, well developed organizational skills, excellent communication skills, etc.
• Exhibit a positive attitude about the project and the company
• Provide support to develop strategies that create processes/programs able to sustain low operating costs
• Perform evaluations and train teams to identify/eliminate waste, reduce operating/maintenance costs and reduce system failures
• Perform preventative maintenance on as scheduled in the Computerized maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Create and modify site operations procedures for equipment and recommend reliability improvements
• Develop, present, and manage compliance to key performance indicators
• Respond to and provide service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems
• Understand company policies and demonstrate ability to identify and correct safety-related issues
• Safely perform functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required
• Maintain a strict schedule to be successful in the assignment yet demonstrate flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer
• Manage the operation and complete tasks to the satisfaction of the client, consistent with cost, schedule, and contractual requirements
• Leverage leadership and organizational management skills to ensure the success of business expansion

Requirements

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
• Five (5) or more years of experience in a maintenance environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade school credentials preferred
• CMMS SAP Software experience

Pay

Physical Requirements

• Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
• Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, and kneel repetitively during shift.
• Requires the ability to regularly stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
• Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
• Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
• Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

Special Requirements

• Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
• Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
