Facilities Maintenance Service Technician - Distribution Center

Job Summary

Mckesson’s temperature controlled Distribution Center in Aurora, IL is currently hiring a Sr Facilities Representative. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on conveyance systems. This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance, taking care of repairs of internal/external areas, to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment.

What You Will Need

• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
• Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc)
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSA
• Work order experience preferred
• Experience operating various Power Equipment would be considered a strong asset

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & forklift use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
• May work at heights and in cold areas at times

Pay Range

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Shift

Sunday - 6pm-2:30pm; Monday to Thursday, 7pm-3:30pm
