Facility Maintenance Service Technician
About the role
J&J Companies is a growing provider of commercial and industrial facility maintenance and equipment services. We support customers by keeping their facilities, material-handling systems, and equipment operating safely and reliably. We are seeking Service Technicians with experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance. This position is a hands-on maintenance and repair role supporting commercial and industrial facilities within approximately a 100-mile radius of the company's Columbia, PA office. The technician travels to customer facilities to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain building systems. This position focuses primarily on mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment maintenance—not cleaning or janitorial work. If you have experience in any of these areas, we encourage you to apply! The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a service team. Because technicians represent J&J Companies at customer locations, a professional attitude and strong customer-service skills are essential. Technicians typically begin their day at our Columbia, PA location before traveling to customer sites, generally within a 100-mile radius. Overnight travel is occasional but rare.
