Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Operate fire alarm, sprinkler systems, and elevators
- Respond to work orders and urgent issues
- Supervise custodial/maintenance staff and approve timecards
- Cover ground, landscaping, and seasonal work
- Oversee compliance with safety codes and insurance requirements
- Support parish/school events and file insurance claims as needed
- Communicate with staff, vendors, ADW, and government agencies
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance or facilities experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
- Able to supervise staff and work independently
- Able to lift 40–50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Valid driver’s license
- Must meet Archdiocesan Child Protection Policy requirements
