Facilities Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Manager supports warehouse operations by providing technical expertise in MHE systems, building systems, maintenance, and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance operations, attend relevant meetings, and communicate initiatives.
• Manage budgets, rentals, purchases, and capital improvements.
• Supervise maintenance team members, including technicians and vendors, ensuring performance and coordination of work.
• Provide technical support for MHE operations, oversee preventative maintenance, and manage outside contractors.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to resolve operational issues and develop support plans.
• Conduct training for compliance and quarterly inspections of fleet vehicles and batteries.
• Review work and purchase orders, monitor operational metrics, and oversee CMMS usage.
• Assist in managing annual budgets and procurement of MHE equipment, ensuring asset replacement and movement.
• Aid in analyzing new business ventures and support maintenance best practices at nearby facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering or Management, or High School Diploma.
• 5-7 years of facilities management experience, focusing on MHE and building systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS systems, budget management, and vendor coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills.
