Facilities Maintenance Manager

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Manager at Columbus Youth Academy in Tampa, Florida. Columbus Youth Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for male youth up to age 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based sex offender services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program.

Responsibilities

• Works as a member of the Administration/Business Department team.
• Oversees and conducts all aspects of site maintenance, including grounds keeping, water systems, daily maintenance, emergency repairs, remodeling projects, and new construction at designated ROP sites.
• Reports to the Program Director or other designated supervisor.
• Directly supervises maintenance and grounds keeping staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of related experience.
• Licensed Technician in a related field (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other).
• Supervisory experience required.
• Possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.
• Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, TB test, and drug screen (THC not tested).
• Previous HVAC experience.
