Facilities Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage maintenance schedules for direct reports and contracts
• Manage inbound requests from work order management systems and effectively delegate tasks to dedicated teams
• Drive performance by setting and tracking KPIs for the facilities management team
• Maintain project status by scheduling and organizing internal and external workflows of facilities projects
• Meet project deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy, and within the allocated budget
• Aid Head of Facilities Management in reviewing and approving repair and maintenance proposals, evaluating completed work to ensure high quality and adherence to standards, and provide recommendations for maintenance modifications based on assessments
• Efficiently handle incoming maintenance requests from Property Management and partner with internal teams to identify and implement effective problem-solving strategies
• Implement audit and control systems to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, policies, and contractual obligations
• Lead and supervise the facility management team in accomplishing maintenance programs, ensuring optimal conditions, appearance, and operations both inside and outside the premises
• Implement ongoing contract review programs to proactively assess the needs of clients, tenants, and occupants, resolving issues to the mutual benefit of all stakeholders
• Ensure that facility management staff consistently delivers positive and prompt responses to requests from clients and building tenants
• Prepare and deliver consolidated reports encompassing budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders relevant to the facilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in Class A high-rise multifamily residential buildings
• Working knowledge of Mechanical and Fire Systems
• Experience working with Google Chrome, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel), and Microsoft Project or alternate project planning tools such as: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam and Sketch Up, or related softwares preferred
• Proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
