About the role
Fortney Companies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee all general maintenance and enhancements for properties owned and operated in the La Crosse area. This role involves a dynamic, hands-on environment where no two days are the same, focusing on keeping properties in top shape.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, painting, floor finishing, snow removal, and outdoor maintenance for rental and retail spaces.
- Handle light electrical or plumbing tasks.
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance needs.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficient work schedules.
- Adjust to changing priorities, processes, and tasks as needed.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with service providers and contractors.
- Some travel required.
Requirements
- Ability to work across multiple aspects of building and landscape maintenance.
- Experience working in varied climate conditions.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
