Facilities Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor heating, plumbing, electrical and security systems daily.
• Document and resolve building issues and track in log book/digital system daily.
• Maintain inventory of building supplies and tools, including ordering cleaning supplies as necessary and coordinating any other purchases for building with the ED or DOPs.
• Perform daily cleanup of trash around the building.
• Perform morning walk-through of the facility to ensure that the cleaning contract is being followed.
• Make repairs to the building and program equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field with field certifications or equivalent experience considered.
• Direct experience in building maintenance is critical.
• General knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing and electrical repair.
• Able to resolve maintenance problems quickly and efficiently.
• Able to balance demands of multiple sites with the daily need for clean buildings and grounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• MS Office and web competency preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Salary - $33.19/hour - $42.56/hour - commensurate with experience; along with competitive benefits and a great work environment.
• TRAVEL - Local travel to ensure facilities maintenance.
• START DATE - September 2026 (desired start date yet position open until filled).
• LOCATION - South Boston, MA (Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club).
