Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary

Responsible for general building and grounds maintenance at program locations, ensuring compliance with all safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance, prioritize tasks, and respond to emergencies, including after hours.
• Identify repair needs, inform supervisors, and ensure timely completion.
• Purchase and inventory maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Attend training, participate in staff meetings, and drive facility vehicles as needed.
• Perform custodial and environmental safety tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma
• Two years of building maintenance experience
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and hardware
• Strong organization, planning, and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license required

Attributes & Conditions

• Ability to work independently indoors and outdoors, lifting over 50lbs., operating machinery, and working in various weather conditions
• Must pass background checks and health screenings
• Work involves contact with residents and staff, with a focus on professionalism and cultural sensitivity
