What You Will Do on a Typical Day

  • Maintain and repair all buildings and equipment
  • Assist with other types of repairs or maintenance
  • Operate power equipment for grounds maintenance or snow removal
  • Aid in moving equipment, racking, office units, furniture, etc.
  • Provide services as needed to tenants and tenants' properties
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and sites

What You Need at a Minimum to Succeed

  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, glass replacement, painting, masonry, grounds keeping, appliance repair, roof repair, and minor electrical work
  • Ability to operate fork truck, scissor lifter, bucket loader, snowplow equipment, bucket truck, box van, and ground equipment
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • A valid driver's license. CDL preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) plus 4 years of related experience
  • Basic math skills

About the Role

The Facilities Maintenance position at Law Realty involves performing various tasks to ensure that all buildings and equipment are maintained and repaired. This includes operating power equipment for grounds maintenance or snow removal, assisting with other types of repairs or maintenance, and providing services as needed to tenants and their properties. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of several trades and the ability to operate various pieces of equipment.

Law Realty is a part of The Law Family Companies, a 6th generation family-owned and operated business that has been providing logistics solutions in the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas since 1882. The company is comprised of seven companies ranging from transportation and warehousing to moving and storage, and real estate services. The property management team is responsible for maintaining and managing a wide range of industrial, warehousing, and office spaces throughout the New England area.

Requirements
