Facilities Maintenance

About the role

Routine maintenance of buildings and systems, including equipment and building repairs such as grounds equipment, plumbing, and basic electrical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming maintenance requests, prioritize, and respond promptly
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment and monitor HVAC systems in the building automation system
• Identify and communicate potential problems with building systems
• Coordinate with on-site contractors (electricians, HVAC repair, elevator technicians, fire alarms, etc.)
• Respond to mission-critical emergencies during the day and potentially after hours, including equipment related to press production and data center operation
• Handle pickups and deliveries at off-campus locations as needed
• Perform grounds work and snow removal

Requirements

• In-office position requiring daily commute to a local office
• 4.5-day regular work week
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
