About the role
Routine maintenance of buildings and systems, including equipment and building repairs such as grounds equipment, plumbing, and basic electrical.
Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming maintenance requests, prioritize, and respond promptly
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment and monitor HVAC systems in the building automation system
- Identify and communicate potential problems with building systems
- Coordinate with on-site contractors (electricians, HVAC repair, elevator technicians, fire alarms, etc.)
- Respond to mission-critical emergencies during the day and potentially after hours, including equipment related to press production and data center operation
- Handle pickups and deliveries at off-campus locations as needed
- Perform grounds work and snow removal
Requirements
- In-office position requiring daily commute to a local office
- 4.5-day regular work week
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
- Results-oriented, flexible, and open to change
- Stable and progressive work history
