About the role
We are seeking a Facilities Leader to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of our car wash facilities. The Facilities Leader will lead a dynamic team of technicians, ensuring the upkeep and performance of equipment and facilities. This hands-on role demands a technical expert with leadership skills, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment (con as conveyors, pumps, motors, sensors) across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues to maintain optimal uptime.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technicians, manage service schedules, recruit skilled tradespeople, and assign work orders via CMMS platform.
- Monitor KPIs (downtime, repair costs, technician utilization), manage inventory for market and field vehicles, and collaborate with leadership to align maintenance efforts with business goals.
- Develop and manage budgets, work with vendors for parts and contracts, and oversee warranty claims and service agreements.
- Ensure facilities meet regulatory standards, conduct safety training, and implement safety protocols.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Experience with CMMS platforms and work order management systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage remote teams and large geographic areas.
- Preferred experience: At least 10 years in service, repair, remodel, and installation within the car wash industry.

- Background in industries like plant facilities, heavy equipment repair, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and equipment operations.

Pay
Salary ranges from $105,500 to $112,500 per year plus a 20% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance.
A satisfactory criminal background and motor vehicle check will be required before hiring.
