Facilities HVAC Techncian (Courthouse)

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in courthouse facilities. Ensures all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC issues using diagnostic tools and knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Maintain HVAC equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications and energy efficiency guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to emergency HVAC calls to restore service as quickly as possible.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC diagnostic tools.
• Experience with HVAC system troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC practices.

Pay

$18.50 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed.
